Tips
Behind Balduinstein there is a gap in the Lahntal cycle path to Laurenburg. It is therefore recommended to take the train from Balduinstein to Laurenburg. Alternatively, you can torture yourself on an alternative route over the mountain.
We stayed on the Lahn. There is a narrow beaten path that is quite easy to drive on. But, you have to be able to control the bike safely. It goes right along the steep bank, without any protection. Likewise, I would not drive along if it is wet.
But you will be rewarded, it is the most beautiful section of the whole Lahn.October 24, 2020
