Fairy Tale Forest Trail

Fairy Tale Forest Trail is a beautiful and apt name for the trail between Alp Champatsch and Alp da Munt.

Depending on the direction of travel on the way through the magically beautiful stone pine forest (which is called Arvenwald here), the personal interpretation of the fairy tale is either the way to the witch or the lucky escape after she ended up in the oven ;)

Where you have a clear view of the Munster Valley, you can see the Ortler in the background.

At Alp Champatsch you can fortify yourself with delicious Alp cheese or Engadin nut cake before the strenuous ascent. The Alp da Munt is not managed in summer, but you can get fresh milk from a refrigerator for a thaler in the cash register of trust.

Easy to drive for time enjoying the beautiful landscape.

Very varied trail. There can be a lot of hikers at the weekend. Mutual respect is essential.
