Historic Center of Toirano

The historic center of Toirano is a labyrinth of cobbled alleys and stone stairways winding between stone houses. Its medieval origins are evident in its structure and materials. Strolling through its narrow streets, you can admire arches, doorways, and remains of the ancient walls surrounding the village.The heart of the town is the Church of San Martino di Tours, which dates back to the 13th century, although it has been remodeled over time. Another attraction is the Clock Tower, once part of the village's defense system.

A wonderful old town with narrow streets that are perfect for exploring by bike (be careful!). The historic old town of Toirano, well worth seeing, can just about be navigated by bike.

The old town of Toirano is very quiet and not touristy. Nevertheless, there is a nice bar in the main square and an ice cream parlor in the parallel lane.
