As a Coburg visitor I found this place great. A beautifully landscaped garden with small water fountains, flowers and glass surfaces to lie down in when the weather is nice.

Hiking

The courtyard garden is around one kilometer long and covers 30 hectares. Around 64 tree species from 40 tree species grow between Schlossplatz and Veste. The oldest trees are around 350 years old. Children can let off steam in two playgrounds. The Hofgarten also has a lot to offer culturally. The Coburg Natural History Museum and the Kunstverein's exhibition pavilion are located on the park grounds.

Very nice park, the trees are big and old and the meadows in between are very spacious. Children of all ages like the playgrounds.
