The stone church was built in the early Gothic style in the 13th century, and the tower in late Gothic style in the 14th century. Visible from far away is the red clock tower.

Hiking

"The village church in Buchhain is a rectangular stone building with a retracted west cross tower. The nave is early Gothic, around the 13th century, and the tower was added in the late Gothic period (14th century). In the 19th century, the walls were redone.
