The easternmost point of North Rhine-Westphalia is located a few hundred meters north in a gentle bend of the Weser and can only be reached across a meadow.
However, there is a nice marker with a rest area installed on the cycle path.

Here you are in the immediate vicinity of the easternmost point of NRW. This point is actually in the middle of the Weser, because the border with Lower Saxony is formed here by the river. In addition, this is about 300m further north, because the Weser makes a left turn here. Nevertheless, there is a corresponding sign at this easily accessible point, a beautifully prepared stone and a detailed information board.
