The Haasen Bankerl rest area was built by Roman Haas, a skilled craftsman with a great love for nature. He also left many other Haasen bankers in various places in the Vienna Woods and even abroad. The Haasen Bankerl rest area has a plaque made from a tree slice that commemorates the Year of the Forest 1985.
The Haasen Bankerl rest area can be reached from different sides, for example from Muggendorf or Oberdörfl. The path leads through beautiful forests, meadows and rocks. The total walking time is between 3 and 5 hours, depending on the route.
