PP 10 Ommen - Hellendoorn
Vandaag leek het droog te blijven, dus we besloten weer eens een stuk van het Pieterpad te gaan lopen, anders komt er nooit een eind aan (we hebben dit jaar namelijk. pas 1 etappe gelopen). Net voordat we vertrokken, had ik een berichtje op Facebook gezet met de vraag of iemand ons van Hellendoorn naar Ommen kon brengen. Al gauw reageerde er een vrijwilliger, die ons wel weg kon brengen. Hij heeft. ons afgezet op het punt waar we de vorige keer geëindigd waren, wat een luxe. We vonden dit een erg mooie route; tot nu toe was dit ook de drukste route. Waar we eerder af en toe iemand tegen kwamen, waren er op deze etappe veel wandelaars, fietsers en ook nog enkele motorcrossers. Boven op de Lemelerberg hadden we het geluk dat er net een schaapsherder was met zijn kudde schapen en 3 honden. Tegen de ene hond gaf hij commando's in het Duits, de andere luisterde naar Engelse commando's en de laatste naar Nederlandse. Zo kon hij elke hond een andere opdracht geven. We hadden pauze bij (een erg leuke) theetuin 't Glint. Het was daar zelfbediening (contant betalen of via QR-code). Er was frisdrank, thee, koffie, ijs, appeltaart, een watertappunt en een WC.. Aan het eind van de route hebben we nog wat gegeten in Hellendoorn bij Noabers. En daarna weer 1,5 uur terug naar huis. Het was een lange en vermoeiende dag, maar wel een hele leuke!
