The larger free space east of the church is called Gelbring from ancient times and is an old historical site. In the Middle Ages, church brotherhoods or guilds held festivities on the Gelbrink. The name Gelbrink (Gildebrink) can be derived from this. In earlier centuries court hearings were held on it.
