Asphalted path, easy to walk on, but watch out for racing cyclists. At the top there are still many ways to explore, unfortunately no rest stops. Take drinks and snacks with you.

The Vollrath estate, an old farm with around 265 acres of land. Like the three linden trees, it was filled with waste from brown coal mining from the middle of the 20th century. To commemorate this, memorial stones were erected on the Vollrather Höhe in October 2004, which stand exactly in the places where the three linden trees and the Vollrath estate were located. (These memorial stones were erected by Paul Aretz.) The Vollrath estate was first mentioned in chronicles in August 1300, when Jordanus de Volderode sold ten acres of land to the St. Gereon Monastery in Cologne. 654 years later, the Vollrath estate was demolished on August 11, 1954. The Vollrather Höhe has buried the Vollrath estate and deprived the towns of Allrath and Neuenhausen of their direct connection.
