Here it goes in serpentines, average 5.8%, high. The road was partly well spent.

  • Nice biting climb from Bunyola towards Alaro.
However, the asphalt is poor, so I recommend choosing the direction from Bunyola to Orient for the climb. The descent from Orient to Alaro is then much easier and safer!

  • can be included in a Pass Tour of the Vent - Galillea - Es Grau - Coll d`Honor. Road surface is rather bad here

  • Very great route in both directions. The road is a bit worse towards Bunyola.

  • From both sides a great ascent as well as descent. The road is very nicely maintained, there are many hairpin bends and the road is mostly empty (especially in early spring). At the top, you can always linger in the small restaurant.

  • Often up here is the "Schwalbe R4 espresso service cars" on the small square at the Paßhöhe.

  • This climb can get extremely slippery after a rain shower (even uphill)! Almost slipped in a hairpin bend and then really fell in the descent. Otherwise nice climb!

  • The road is very broken in the upper part of the peak. Be careful on the descends.

  • The ascent to Bunyola is wonderful to drive. It is not too difficult to wind up easily. The topping is a little bit out. Therefore, this direction is more recommendable.

  • Great area, but very pitted asphalt on both sides. Nothing for fast descents or enjoying the view in the meantime...

  • Very nice climb from Bunyola. However, the road surface is getting worse from year to year. Caution is advised on the descent from the top of the pass to the village of Orient. Then good surface and nice descent to Alaro. Avoid on weekends when the weather is nice, when the locals drive en masse to picnic here in their cars.

  • Be very careful on the hairpins as the surface can easily catch you out. Opt for safety over speed and enjoy the view.

  • Beautiful climb. I ascended from Alaro and did the descent towards Bunyola. Great switchbacks! not difficult, but nice hairpin turns allow a smooth and gentle climb to the top.
