The Evangelical Lutheran St. Peter's Church on Dörriesplatz was built between 1899 and 1902. It was constructed using large sandstone blocks. Romanesque elements are combined with Gothic pointed-arch windows. The church belongs to the St. Peter and St. Nicodemus parish and is the seat of the Hanover-Southeast superintendency.
