Depending on the time of year, there is a lot to do at Lake Maschsee. Ice skating (rarely), pedal boating, swimming, stand up paddling. Also popular as a running track to walk around.

The lido on the south bank was opened in 1937. The complex with the historic entrance area and the changing rooms is now a listed building. Since it opened, the pool has been very popular with families and older people in particular – but all of Hanover likes to be guests here in the summer.
