Beautiful bike path through nature on the Beetzseeufer. In Ketzür there is still a small beach.

Very well maintained bike path. During the opening hours, a visit to the Bockwindmühle in Ketzür is recommended.

Lots of nature, good to very good surface, Soloradweg-not road-going.

You can combine the Storchenradweg with the tour via Ribbeck and Groß Behnitz and the Großtrappentour. To do this, continue straight ahead from Lünow on the paved bike path towards Roskow, which branches off shortly before Roskow to Päwesin. The tower of the Roskower church with the weather vane visible from afar shows that a detour into the village is worthwhile, which can also offer a castle. Continue on the country road to Päwesin. Here you will find a church in Brandenburg baroque of impressive severity. Then you reach Bagow with an art nouveau church from 1907, which is rare in the region. Via Riewend with its small village church on the lake you come to Klein Behnitz and in Groß Behnitz you have access to the two round tours.

The Storchenradweg around the Beetzsee lives up to its name. In summer almost every village has a pair of storks at home. After starting in Brandenburg an der Havel, we first head to Mötzow, where the Domstiftsgut offers fresh asparagus, strawberries, blueberries and beans, depending on the season. The next destination is the romantic Lünow, which is located in the middle of the bird sanctuary. Via the Lünower Streng, which connects the Beetzsee with the Riewendsee, you reach the western lakeshore in Ketzür. Here you can make pottery, have your own must produced or admire the interior of the listed church. There is also a trestle windmill typical of Havelland in Ketzür.

Idyllic bike path, without cars, but with animals: buffaloes, cows and horses invite behind the fence for petting.
