With an estimated 1200 years it is the oldest still living oak in Hasbruch and thus even the second oldest oak in Germany. Their circumference is a little over 8 meters.
The Friederike oak was named after the daughter of the Grand Duke Paul Friedrich August.

Please push the bike!
An idyllic path with several 100-year-old trees - which are now beginning to die off due to their age. Nevertheless, they are impressive. "Younger" trees sometimes have a very bizarre growth.
