Münster (Haito-Münster), Basel
The originally Carolingian church, the so-called Haito-Münster, was built in the first half of the 9th century by the Basel bishop Haito (805–823), who was also abbot of the Reichenau monastery on Lake Constance. The floor plan of the cathedral has been partially archaeologically proven.

Absolutely awesome! You can climb both steeples and come under the Spits. Sensational view!

Who once in Basel should not miss a visit to the Basel Minster. The two towers offer a wonderful view of the city. From the Pfalz (platform behind the cathedral) there is a beautiful view of the so-called Rheinknie.
