Thorvald Bindesbøll designed the "Fiskepakhusene" (fish pack houses) in the port of Skagen in 1907, when the port of Skagen was laid out, modeled after the Hanseatic quarter Bryggen in Bergen, Norway. Today, however, at the Fiskehuskajen, no more chaffing people pack the fish from the incoming cutters into the warehouses, but guests and visitors enjoy the view of the Skagen Lystbådehavn, the marina, fish'n'chips and cold beer.

Good for a break. A fresh Tuborg Grøn and a plate of shrimp 🦐🦐🦐 are highly recommended there.
