I went the tour yesterday. The trees have been cleared away and the landslide on the bridge is no longer visible. However, the path over the 12-meter-high slope is still unsecured and very critical. You have to come to the levada to be sure!

Was there on 28 March2018. Not recommended. About 90 fallen trees over the levada. And a landslide at the larger bridge, approximately in the middle of the hike. It is not advisable to climb this because it is about 12m vertically down and the overburden is not Trittfest and only about 30cm wide

Very nice Levada. Everything moist, everywhere moss, fern, laurel trees. Simply fantastic.

One of the most beautifully located levadas in Madeira. Tropical vegetation through which the levada meanders in many turns and passes several viewpoints. However, it can always happen that such a narrow path, as it is, is difficult to pass through landslides or wind throws - then you should, if you are sure-footed and not afraid of heights, behave very carefully.

Great easy walking path, but as a bridge is closed, not completely accessible.
