Hiking
The building of the Aachen University Hospital looks very futuristic and technical. The architectural style is assigned to the "technical modernity". In 2008 the main building was entered in the list of monuments. In 2011 a - also futuristic - helipad was built. This is also known as the "saving hand". The Aachen University Clinic cannot be compared with typical hospitals in the interior either. The building is worth a look - both inside and out.

The University Hospital of RWTH Aachen, inaugurated in 1985, has been a listed building since 2008 as an "important testimony to high-tech architecture in Germany", is 257 meters long, 134 meters wide, 1400 beds, 52 operating theaters, 6 lecture theaters and green floor coverings . Absolutely worth seeing!
