Eschenbach is a part of the municipality of Pommelsbrunn, it is located in the Hirschbachtal at the confluence of the Hirschbach in the Pegnitz. The consecration of a church to "Eschinebach" by Bishop Gundekar II around 1059 is also the earliest documented mention of the place and its church. Worth seeing: Gothic Paulskirche, Wasserburg of the Ebner von Eschenbach family and the Wengleinpark. Refreshments in the restaurant & beer garden "Grüner Schwan".
