Mountain biking

The new suspension bridge over the Lech River near Forchach is complete and open to the public. It is twice as long as the old one and, on the west side, connects directly to the cycle path, eliminating the need to descend as with the old bridge. The old bridge, nearly 100 years old, was demolished to make way for the widening of the Lech River.

The suspension bridge in Forchach leads over the Lech. The suspension bridge, built in 1906, has a span of over 75 m. The suspension bridge can be reached in a few minutes from Forchach. From the village center head towards the sports field through the forest to the bridge. The extensive wild landscape of the Lechauen can be enjoyed particularly well from the suspension bridge.
