Wiener Hütte

The Wiener Hütte is open again (hike on November 21, 21)! It has been modernized, but looks quite cozy. As in the past, the hut is likely to be very busy, as it can also be reached by car. Currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Worth a detour - for a short break, maybe with a snack in the hut

Unfortunately, it's now a Schicki-Micki restaurant. Don't want day trippers passing by. Reservation only. Extremely unfriendly staff (they decide whether you get a table). You have to wait for "assignment", which then turns you down, even though there are enough places. Reserved personally for a group of 22 people. Then they said there were no seats. When I insisted on the reservation (which was noted in the book), she said there was no space, but inside (in the summer at 30 degrees) everything is free anyway. Tried a total of 5x - and 5x only extremely bad experience. Unfriendly, small card, very expensive. Conclusion - never again
