Cycling
The Protestant church of Hohenwarthe stands directly on the banks of the Elbe. It was built from rubble in the late Romanesque style and consists of the nave, a slightly narrower sanctuary and a semicircular apse. The former north portal was later walled up, the windows received baroque forms during reconstruction work in 1658. The west gable experienced in 1880 with an open bell arcade and octagonal helmet a striking transformation.
