The name says it all: At Liegstein (1,592 meters), it's best to lie down to enjoy the view. The rock face drops almost vertically for 800 meters. Below, the Bregenzerach River flows toward Lake Constance. Opposite, the Kanisfluh rises dramatically, and to the left, you can see the Argenbach Valley toward Damüls, the Furka Pass, and Faschina.
