Container Aussichtspunkt

The tower, consisting of old containers, offers a direct view of the north lock. With a bit of luck, you can watch a car freighter lock here. Behind the lock you have a beautiful view of the container port, the loading of wind turbines and the Weser. Entry is free.

A low-traffic time on Saturday or Sunday is worth taking a look at the car loading area. The size of the ships and the mass of vehicles is overwhelming

The platform, consisting of 8 x 40 feet and 4 x 20 feet containers, promises a panoramic view of the container terminal, car terminal, shipyard, locks and the cruise terminal at a height of approx. 15 m.

You have a really nice view from there. However, the "Polarstern" cannot be seen if it is lying in Kaiserhafen 3 near the Lloyd shipyard, as it is at the moment (October 18, 2020).
