Located at 2,600 meters above sea level, in the grassy valley of the upper Alpe Tournalin, the Grand Tournalin refuge is a copper and stone building. Built in 1994 by the Becquet family, the refuge has 45 beds in welcoming rooms furnished in wood with four to eight beds.
Since its first edition in 2010, the Grand Tournalin refuge has been a fixed stop on the Tor des Géants. In general the trails around here are not technical, but if you climb higher the terrain becomes more interesting.
