The Tzere plateau is also known by the valley dwellers as the "pleasant valley" or "enchanted valley". It is a place of surprising beauty: the grassy plateau is crossed by the cool stream that calmly descends from a lush waterfall (especially when the snow from the glaciers above melts). The rocks and pine trees form the backdrop together with the peaks of Monte Rosa which stand out in the background.
