Coming from the Meißner Kaufunger Wald nature park Vollungssattel car park, follow path 4. This path is a well-developed, wide forest road. After approx. 2 km you will reach the Großer Habichtstein. This is also relatively easy to climb. You don't need any climbing equipment 😉😅. Once at the top you have a wide view. And depending on the weather conditions, it can be very hot, windy, stormy and cold.
At the top there is a bench that is now showing its age. It still holds (01.11.2020).
