The Holy Trinity Monastery in Areti is located next to the village of Karydi (near Neapolis) in an arid and isolated area of Mirabello Province. Together with the neighboring Kardamoutsa Monastery, they were the most important monasteries in the area.
Dilapidated for many years, it is now being gradually restored.

A beautiful old monastery complex. According to our landlord, it's not always open, but we were lucky enough to be greeted by a friendly monk.
