The National Park Dunes of Texel is about 43 km2 in size. You walk through dunes, colorful moors and on the beach. There is a good chance that you will spot seals here, or pay a visit to the Ecomare nature museum where you can learn all about these sea dwellers.

Coming from the ferry you can actually pay a visit to the national park straight away. A wide strip of dunes stretches without interruption to the lighthouse.
