The ascent from Peißenberg over the St. Michelsweg, Buchau and Taigschuster is easy for hikers despite mostly paved secondary roads. Car and bicycle traffic are limited on this passage. Nevertheless, at the summit of the Hoher Peißenberg, it is partly like at the Stachus. Due to the easy accessibility by car populate the mountain, especially around noon and in connection with a visit to the restaurant "Bavarian Rigi" large crowds. It is therefore recommended to avoid these rush hours. A visit is worthwhile due to the great view of the Upper Bavarian mountains, u.a. to the Zugspitze namely always.
