Tips
A nice destination for a bike tour - the climb to the 290m high oak is worthwhile. The tree itself is impressive, the view from there in all directions is too. And you have a pleasantly shady or - as in my case - dry rest area. ;)

A great place with a magnificent oak tree and a fantastic all-round view.
It is not for nothing that the Hombresser Friedenseiche natural monument made it onto the cover of the film Ostwind 4. Some film scenes from the Ostwind series were also shot here.
