Jews living in Hüttenheim were mentioned as early as 1498. [1] In 1812 there were 173 Jewish residents in Hüttenheim, i.e. 20% of the Hüttenheim population, who buried their dead in the Jewish cemetery in Rödelsee.

In 1818 the first Jew found his final resting place in the Jewish cemetery in Hüttenheim. Also dead from the surrounding communities Bullenheim, Dornheim, Mainbernheim, Marktbreit, Nenzenheim, Uffenheim and Weigenheim were buried there in the following years.

National Socialists desecrated the Jewish cemetery in 1938. A memorial on the site of the former morgue (Tahara House) commemorates this event.

Easily overlooked and not open to the public. But pictures from the outside are possible
