Our Lady of Dole is the main church of the city of Dole, in Franche-Comté. It was built in the sixteenth century, in a hybrid Gothic-Renaissance style, on the site of a former collegiate church Notre-Dame whose name and status it inherited until 1790. Nowadays, it continues, by tradition, to be called "Collegiate", despite its erection in basilica minor, in 1951. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coll%C3%A9giale_Our-Dame_de_Dole

The old town is worth seeing, especially the Siftskirche Notre Dame in Dole.
Interesting story about the cathedral.

A beautiful cathedral in which we saw pretty little wooden reliefs that show the life of Jesus.
