The climb starts next to the Serravalle Cathedral, along the characteristic monumental staircase built in place of the ancient "Porta del Terraglio", demolished in 1931.
Going up slowly, it will take us just over half an hour to reach the sanctuary.
The itinerary is very popular with the Serravallesi, especially on Sunday afternoons.

Past the stairs and the monument, the path is quite dilapidated. Trees brutally cut or uprooted; chaotic and unmaintained path. In short, a rather distressing climb. Fortunately, the spectacular view at the top is worth it. Access to a water point to cool off and toilets.
