The magnificent twin viaducts in Millers Dale were built in 1866 and 1905 by the Midland Railway company. These days, the structure carries the Monsal Trail, an iconic cycle route through this part of the Peak District.

Wonderful structures once carrying the railway over the deep gorge of Millers Dale, now converted into the Monsal Trail - one of the area's most scenic bike trails.

As far as I know, this marks the start of the Monsal trail. Access from the nearby car park up a bit of a climb.
