A day of climbing! We had thought tiday would bereally tough but it was actually not to bad!
Once again super lucky with the weather for this time of the year with the wind finally now dying down.

We thought to have an easy day and plotted out a short 8km route.
We crossed a gorge that is famous in the area for its cave paintings, there is also a museum just nearby with some cool exhibits! Unfortunately it was closed when we passed so have made a note for next time!

Day three of our trip and still no blisters!
We started to head towards the mountain range and the town of Culla where we wanted to stay in a few days time.
We came across this fancy bubble hotel and restaurant on the way and decided that it would be our accommodation for the night

Day Two! We awoke in Rossell and left from our hotel headed towards the local supermarket to grab snacks for the day ahead

Day one we encountered few issues! Firstly the footpath over the climb at the start didn't actually exist or had not been used in many many years, it was overgrown and no clearing at all, it got quite rocky near the top and was very exposed. The second issue was that there was high weather warnings for

With a very tough back end we cracked at around 5am on the third night, 2 hours sleep made all the difference.
Coming across a fruit market with 20km to go was the icing on the cake and we rolled in to the finish happy

The second night we decided to stop for a wash and proper sleep.
Then up early to tackle a tough climb then head towards the coast and the second half of the route

We didn't get far after Gor without deciding to stop for a bit of sleep.
An hour or so later and we were back on the bikes and in to this section of the route. Her there is no opportunity for re supply for quite a long while - tough going!

The final day of our hike and one that would normally be an absolute breeze on a bike - 22km downhill!
Not quite as easy walking but fun none the less. We came across these 2 very sweet dogs who decided they wanted to follow us all the way and did just that for 6km.
