The Flora Westfalica connects the districts of Rheda and Wiedenbrück about 2.5 km apart along the course of the river Ems and serves as a recreational area with its renatured floodplain and river landscapes, playgrounds, gastronomy, nature and nature trails. It begins in the district Wiedenbrück with the Emssee and ends in Rheda with the castle grounds and the rose garden.
