Lüttringhausen is a district of the city of Remscheid in Germany. Lüttringhausen belongs to the traditional area of the Lower Franconian dialect of Limburg. Lüttringhausen is located on the Uerdinger Line. The psychiatric clinic Evangelische Stiftung Tannenhof can be found in Lüttringhausen, as well as the prison in Remscheid. The botanist Caspar Georg Carl Reinwardt was born in Lüttringhausen, Prussia.
In the woods near the Stiftung Tannenhof is a memorial stone for the naval battle of Jutland.
There has been a prison in Lüttringhausen since 1906. Several Dutchmen were imprisoned here during the Second World War.
