Dunmore Head on the Dingle Peninsula is the westernmost point of the island of Ireland and is said to be the westernmost point of the European continent. From here you can only go further west by ship, for example to the Blasket Islands, which seem to be just a stone's throw away from the coast. A walk along the rough Atlantic coast is worth it!
