In consequence of the German war 1866 the circle Schmalkalden of Prussia was annexed and along the hitherto kurhessischen border all boundary marking stones with the "kurhessischen lion" were replaced by stones with the royally Prussian eagle coat of arms. The landmark in question is an approximately 1.80 m high stone, which is rounded off in accordance with the regulations on the top. On the show side (to the street) is a cast-iron metal plate with the Prussian coat of arms motif embedded.
