The Olympic training center Oberhof is responsible for the general conditions of the Thuringian top and junior athletes in 7 Olympic winter sports disciplines. The Thuringian winter sports center accommodates the skiing disciplines of biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined and jumping, as well as the three disciplines Bob, luge and skeleton. It is the home of numerous successful Thuringian top athletes. The modern sports facilities are also the annual venue of several national and international top-class competitions.
