The fortress ruin Bonripári rises southeast of the Dorrfes Monopari. On the one hand, the castle is protected by almost vertically sloping mountain walls. Unfortunately, only a few remains of walls are recognizable, but the place has a charming atmosphere and is easy to reach.

Bonripári is an old Venetian fortress, but was built by the Genoese pirate Enrico Pescatore, who stayed on the island between 1206 and 1210 before the Venetians returned.
Within the fortress complex, you can still see the ruins of other buildings. It's a wonderful place; if you take a little time, you can observe various animals (including snakes), and wild cyclamen and autumn crocus grow there, among many other plants.
