The smallest town in Switzerland. There is a circular route around the pond and around the castle with wonderful views of the colorful gardens and a fantastic view from the castle over the Rhine Valley. A small café, Holzerstübli with homemade spelled biscuits, invites you to linger.

When the weather is nice - simply wonderful ensemble: castle, lake, mountains. The restaurant with ice cream parlor "Galerie am See" is located directly on the lake. It sits really well there. The old buildings below the castle are also interesting.
For the history-conscious: when the canton of St. Gallen was founded, the town of Grabs was awarded the castle with the town of Werdenberg and the town of Buchs with the Werdenbergersee.May 10, 2019
