    Mountaineering

If there is a lively bustle on the neighboring Hörndlwand, it will be much quieter from the turn off over the Olbiger Kreuz to the Gurnwandkopf. There are hardly any hikers here, which makes the tour all the more attractive. Very scenic, but sure-footedness required, especially when descending the Hochkienberg.

The way up to the Olbiger Kreuz (classification T3) is steep and, above all, quite narrow. Large people or large backpacks may have to squeeze through here. At the Olbiger Kreuz you are rewarded with a beautiful view of the Hörndlwand. The further way to the Gurnwandkopf is no longer difficult. At the summit it is easy to rest and enjoy the fantastic view.

Nice little detour to the Hörndlwand.
