Tips

  • A historic location that was part of Defense Line Antwerp WW2. The Antitankgracht was dug in the period 1937 - 1939 to defend Antwerp. There was a lock bunker at various locations along the route. These lock bunkers were built to maintain the water level. Today you can relax in the shade of the flanked trees at a picnic table. Just a hundred meters away there is a memorial tree for both world wars.
