    Very promising and much-used pass crossing from the Binntal into the Rhone valley. The view extends from the Ofenhorn at the upper end of the Binntal to the Mischabel group (Dom, Alphubel ...) in the Saas Valley.

      At the Saflischpass you sometimes have the feeling of being on another planet, so unusual are the mountains there. Very long hike, we have so far enjoyed the ascent of Heiligkreuz: longer, not too steep ascent, and much shorter descent to Rosswald. From there you can go back by gondola, bus and train.
