Tips
Historical pass crossing from Piedmont to Valais, used since Roman and Celtic times. On the Italian side developed as a mule track with steps (T2) and with a picturesque view of the Pianboglio and Codelago reservoirs on Alpe Devero. On the Swiss side, the Binntalhütte (SAC) is just below the pass.
