Hiking
At Denmark's westernmost point you will find a wide white sandy beach, a large car park and a restaurant. The Blavand beach is known as very child friendly, there is no strong current and you can go for a swim far out.
The Blavand lighthouse looks far out to the horizon, where you can glimpse Horn's reef, which stretches for about 40 kilometers in the open North Sea and almost forms a lagoon on Blavand's south coast. In the dunes around the lighthouse are still bunkers from the 2nd World War, which are now closed and secured.
