From its source, it first flows west through the Hornedahl into the Horn farming community. There, southwest of Herbern, the horns turn south. After flowing through Werne, the horns open into the lip.
Horn is a secondary source of the Horne, which is known to the public as "Horne sources". It invites hikers, pilgrims and cyclists to linger right on the Jakobs Pilgerweg.

The source is in a quiet place. You can sit here and take a break. The source itself is very overgrown and was not accessible to me.
